First Impressions:Max Factor Colour adapt foundation

Hello Everyone!
So I thought I would try a bit of a different post today and do a first impressions post talking about the newest foundation I have added to my daily makeup routine which is Max factors ''Colour adapt-Skin tone adapting make up foundation''.

As its coming up to the dreaded season that is winter I decided to swap my trusty and reliable BB cream for a foundation to give me more coverage for the cold and wet winter days that are approaching. This is actually only the 2nd foundation that I have owned so I asked the Lady at the max factor counter what foundation she would recommend for someone who wanted light coverage and had oily skin and she recommended this one.

After wearing this foundation every day for the last month I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely be re-purchasing this again throughout this season.I'm not completely sure whether the actual colour adapt aspect of this foundation works but I do know that the shade I have (which is Warm Almond) Is the perfect and exact shade for my skin which is so great as no-one likes a foundation that isn't your skin colour.I'm also very pleased with the coverage itself as I use it to give me a low coverage (But it can easily be built up by simply using more foundation) but it gives me a thorough  enough coverage to cover any spots, dark circles and red patches I may have on my face and leaves a natural flawless look when applied which is great as another pet hate of mine is cakey foundation. Also I have very oily skin (But never really gets spots which is kinda weird but hey ho) but when wearing this foundation my skin barely gets oily at all and if it does then it doesn't smudge or run at all, woohoo!.

Overall I think this foundation does the perfect job for me and is everything that I look for in a foundation so I would strongly recommend it.

What foundations are you wearing this Autumn/Winter?

Rimmel London-Apocalips

Hello everyone and welcome to my latest make-up OBSESSION-Rimmel London Apocalips Lip-gloss!.

.Literally, until discovering these lip glosses I have completely avoided wearing lip-glosses as I just hate the sticky and oily feel they leave (Especially with my long hair that goes everywhere, there is nothing more annoying then getting lip gloss in it). With my hate for lip-glosses aside I had seen great reviews about these and I really wanted a bold red lip so decided to pick these two shades up as a bet and sure did it become lucky! Luckily for me these glosses dry matte so no horrible sticky/oily feel or texture, woohoo!.Also as these glosses dry matte and are quite distinct and bold shades they last hours and don't smudge which I love as again nothing annoys me more than constantly having to re-apply lip-gloss!.

So Its official I have now fallen back in love with Lip glosses thanks to Rimmel Apocalips!.

Shade:Big Bang

Shade:Nude Eclipse

Thank you for reading, Hope you liked this post!.

Are there any Matte lip-glosses you would recommend for me to try?:-)

Elf Pallette

Hello Everyone!

So today I thought I would show you my favourite autumn eye shadow palette full of lovely warm and neutral shades perfect for a cold and crisp autumn morning. The actual palette is only like £4.00 from what I remember and for that price the quality of the eye shadows really are outstanding. The eye shadows themselves are lovely and varied shades which are shimmery or matte. After my experience of wearing a few of these shades I would honestly recommend these eye shadows so much as they are so pigmented and the colours last all day.

Some more in detail photos of the palette:

Liquid Eyeshadow

 (From left to right)

Rimmel London:Scandaleyes in Rich Russet

Max Factor:Masterpiece colour precision Eye shadow in Pearl Beige

I honestly cant even express to you how much I love liquid eyeshadow at the moment so I shall have to try to condense my love through limited words in this blog post. If im going to be completely honest with you im just a bit bad at applying my own powder eye shadow and end up looking like a panda with it all over my eyes. I love wearing eye shadow so much though as I think it just adds a ''finished'' look to any makeup face im wearing so was so happy when I came across liquid eye shadow as boy is it easy to apply.

These liquid eye shadows that I have featured are my absolute favourites to use as they are very pigmented and glittery which I love for going out looks. The best thing about these is that they last all day e.g. 7 am-8pm perfectly which is great for a busy day out where you don't want your eyshadow to smudge and look messy. The application is extremely easy as well as you literally put it on your eyelids with the wand like you would apply lip-gloss to your lips.

Lush Haul

Hello lovelies! Sorry I haven't been posting much recently but I am now in the swing of college so shall hopefully get back into posting regularly! Todays post is  a little lush haul (featuring mainly testers aha) You will also notice that I haven't bought any bath products from Lush and this is because my skin is wayyy to sensitive for those products which makes me incredibly sad because their bath bombs and soaps all look so beautiful :(.Anyway! Hope you like this!.

The Products I bought minus the testers.

T for Toes
I hate wearing socks with my shoes and as I like to wear mainly dolly shoes anyway socks would just look weird with them!. As of this I decided to buy ''T for Toes'' which is a tea tree and lime scented powder which you put in your shoes in order to make your feet shoes less sweaty and smell delightful!. I know that sounds disgusting but lets face it nobody has beautiful smelling feet and after sprinkling this powder in my shoes every time I go out every time I can definitely say that this does a cracking job!.

Stepping Stone
Like everyone wearing flip flops and sandals 24/7 throughout the summer season has realised it makes the heels of your foot incredibly hard and sore :(.To sort my hard feet out I decided to buy stepping stone which is made with Pumice and fine sea salt. You scrub this over the heels of your wet feat to remove dead skin, Soften and made them smell as fresh as a daisy!. This worked so well and made my feet feel so soft and also left them smelling so refreshing!.

New charity pot
This pocket size charity pot is a little pot of Hand and body lotion that smells like a lovely floral scent. This little post is only £1.00,goes a long way and really is a great moisturiser especially for hands as I get very sore and dry hands and this has sorted them out a treat!.

The tester pots I was given for free.

                                                        Dream wash sample
As I said previously most lush products have far too strong colours and scents that irritate my skin lots but after trying this sample as recommended by the lovely lush worker I can officially use this woohoo!.Dream wash is a very very pale pink shower smoothie made with calamine and soothing aloe vera gel and smells a sweet floral scent. After using this sample I would highly recommend it for people like me who have really sensitive skin as it didn't irritate my skin at all, Just left it soft and smelling lovely!.

Fair trade foot lotion sample
This foot lotion left my feet so soft after using it and also smelt so minty which was a huge bonus!.

Volcano foot mask sample
I never actually got around to using this sample because it just seemed a bit too messy for my liking but the concept of it sounds interesting!.For this foot mask you rub it on your foot (Especially the dead skin areas) and wrap your feet in cling film for about 20 minutes until the mask dries and then peel it off.

Hope you liked this little haul!.

What are your favourite products from lush? :-)

Mini Poundland Beauty Haul

I bet your thinking ''poundland'' and ''Beauty'' in the same sentence, what?.Don't worry I was just as surprised as you.

So the story starts when I was in poundland the other day looking at the beauty section and discovered that they sell branded products like ''Rimmel'' ''Nivea'' and ''L'Oreal'' products.I'm pretty sure that all of the branded products that they do sell are discontinued lines which means I will only be able to purchase these products as one offs but for £1.00 I am sure not complaining. I honestly cant tell you how excited I was to buy these products at just  £1.00 each like omg.

From Left to Right from the photo

The products I bought:

1) Lipsations shimmer chapstick in Berry
Its a lovely lip moisturiser which has a slight glitter shimmer too it.

2) Rimmel London Apocalips lip lacquer in red
I honestly cant tell you how happy I am that I managed to snap this up for a pound. It is a very bold red lipgloss which actually dries to be of a matte lipstick texture which means it lasts for hours which is great as nothing annoys me more than constantly having to re-apply my lipgloss/stick.

3)Rimmel London Scandal eyes eye shadow paint  in 006 Rich Russet
I am also equally in love with this little find. Liquid eye shadow is my go to eye makeup when I want to make a real effort with my makeup as im just not very good at doing/blending powder eye shadow properly and liquid goes on so easily and lasts all throughout the day/or evening. I choose to buy this eye shadow in the medium brown ''Rich Russet'' shade as it's a great eye shadow to wear for a natural look and looks lovely when blended with a light cream eye shadow in the crease.

4)Nivea Pearly shine Lip balm
I have been loving this lip balm for a real while. Its a lovely light pink shimmery balm which looks great to wear when you want a more natural look on your lips.

Hope you liked this post!
