Vo5 Hair products:Volume spray and straightening lotion

So as I was shopping the other day there was a little deal going on for the VO5 hair products in ASDA's  so it would have been rude not to get anything.

 

Now lets face it in the summer styling your hair can be tedious, especially when it requires heat. As of this I opted  for the Volume gel spray as it gives hair a nice beachy and bouncy texture when applying to wet or dry hair. I usually apply my spray into my dry hair in the mornings to give me a nice beachy texture for the rest of the day and then ruffle my hair a little in order to gain as much texture as possible. I am thoroughly impressed with this product and it has definitely turned into my summer go-to hair product.

 

Now secondly I bought the ''Smoothly does it; Straightening Lotion' 'This product grabbed my attention as I love to straighten my hair but its frankly effort and takes a toll on my hairs condition. To use this product you apply the lotion to towel dried hair and then blow dry your hair in sections like you would normally. You then straighten your hair when fully dry which leaves you with very straight and glossy hair. I like my hair to be very straight and have naturally wavy hair so this product wasn't as great as I thought it would be. This is as my straight hair only lasted fully for a day and then after I washed it my waves crept back in although I have to admit they were tamed waves so the product can have some credit. I think that if you did have more tamed hair then this product should work well for you but for my hair type I wont be purchasing this again.Although I have slightly moaned about this product I do like it and think its really useful to use on nights before busy days as it saves so much more time in the morning not having to worry about your hair.

Macadamia Oil hair mask

 

Now recently my hair has been getting itself into a 'right state' as some may say.I am afraid that finally the constant bleaching and straigtening I have been putting it through has caught up with it leaving me with lots of split ends and straw-like textured hair.As a result of this I went on a mission to find a hair product that would improve my hairs health and texture in the beauty section of T.K.maxx and stumbled upon this hair mask. I have never previously heard of ''macadamia oil'' but I thought it looked interesting so purchased it.

The hair mask texture is that of your average conditioner. You put it on wet hair, I generally only put it on the ends to avoid greasy roots.(good to do in the shower of bath) and leave it on for 7 minutes. You then simply wash it off to reveal your newly washed and nourished hair. I have been using this mask once a week (recommended to only use once or twice a week) for a month now and my hair has fully been restored back to health. After every use of this product my hair is so soft, silky and smells divine so it really does do an amazing job.

 

Next time I am in T.K.maxx I shall be buying this by the bucket loads and it truly does a remarkable job!.
