The other day I was in Oxford street and happened to pop into John Lewis (the store haha). So obviously I couldn't just walk past the makeup counters? I mean they were practically calling my name!.I went straight up to the benefit makeup counter and knew exactly what I wanted,a blusher!.
There was about 5 different blushers available though so the lovely male makeup assistant helped me to decide by showing me how they turn out on the skin and the effect each one is supposed to give. After a lot of debates in my head I settled for the "sugar bomb" blusher as it is aimed at giving a natural blush and it has been voted ''The uk's no1 blusher'' im not sure by who, what or where but its cool by me.
I was so excitied to try this out when I got home and I was not at all disappointed!.I have quite tanned olive skin so the blusher really gives me a glow and helps to enhance my tan more naturally than a bronzer and turns out a lovely peachey pink colour on the skin when you blend all four colour together. It is very pigminted and glittery (but not so much I look like a peach disco ball) so it gives a lovely glow effect and lasts hours so I don't have to keep reapplying inbetween lessons, horray!.
I would fully recommend buying this blusher but the only advice that I would give is that the brush that it comes with is not very effective and does not give a good coverage which disappointed me at first but then I used my real techniques blush brush and trust me these products are a dream team!.Also the blush is easier to put on with a layer of moisturiser or foundation as it stays put easier and for longer. Also as I am quite tanned I have to put quite a lot of it on so you can notice it but that is the same for all blushers so im not complaining.
I also really love the packaging as it is really pretty and the box makes it easier to carry around eg in a handbag and protects it from chipping or breaking up.Also I love the little mirror inside the box as if you don't have time to look in a proper mirror to redo your makeup you can just redo it wherever you are.
Although this blusher is very pricey at £23 it is worth the money and I will most definately be repurchasing this blusher in the future!
I hope this review has possibly helped!
Have you bought any good blushers recently?
